This book is a revelation. Spiritual, uplifting, and unforgettable. Debbie has taken us gently, lovingly, and courageously by the hand to share poetry that represents her journey toward self-fulfillment and peace. 'Tears of Change', what a beautiful book of poems! The poems are all written by Debbie Monteggia. Her writings take you through the many spiritual and emotional journeys of her actual life events. While my journey may be different from Debbie’s, I find common ground with so many of her poems. I have shed many happy and sad tears through the years and ‘Honor your Tears’ is the perfect opening poem for this book. It reminds us of the healing, growth, and joy tears can bring. Being a mom of two adult daughters (one son) the poem ‘Girl - a Mother’s Love’ was especially meaningful to me. It brought back many fond memories of my girls, along with a few tears. The illustrations are simple and add to the appeal and meaning of the poems. Poetry is not usually my favorite genre but this book is an exception and one I know I will refer to often. The book itself is heartfelt and the cover is cleverly illustrated reflecting the true essence of the book. It has found a permanent home on my coffee table for myself and others to enjoy!

"Tears of Change" is a true and beautiful expression of emotions. Although it is a book of poems, it tells a story of Debbie's life and some of the struggles and joys within it. Sort of like a window into her life! However, as I read further into the book, I realized that the window had many reflections. I began to see pieces of my own life and felt many of the same emotions. Truly inspiring, this book will make you smile, laugh, cry, and most of all, make you realize how blessed you are!
